Multi-mJ, kHz, ps deep-ultraviolet source
We demonstrate a 0.56-GW, 1-kHz, 4.2-ps, 2.74-mJ deep-ultraviolet (DUV) laser at ∼257.7 nm with a beam propagation factor ($M^{2}$) of ~2.54 from a frequency-quadrupled cryogenic multi-stage Yb-doped chirped-pulse amplifier.

H2O2‐directed solvate engineering reorganizes ∞[4HP] (4‐hydroxypyridine) chains from a crossed arrangement into a nearly parallel packing through strengthened hydrogen‐bonding interactions. The resulting peroxide‐containing crystal, 4HP·H2O2, exhibits a solar‐blind UV cutoff edge (278 nm) and giant birefringence (0.609 @ 546 nm). This work demonstrates

Recent progress and challenges in top‐emitting quantum dot light‐emitting diodes
This review summarizes recent advances in top‐emitting quantum‐dot light‐emitting diodes (TE‐QLEDs), including device architectures, microcavity engineering, angular‐emission management, and operational stability, highlighting optical–electrical–thermal co‐optimization as the key pathway toward reliable, high‐performance TE‐QLEDs. Abstract Top‐emitting
