Common deep level in GaN

SPIE Proceedings, 1999
A deep level with the activation energy around 0.45-0.6 eV has persistently appeared in GaN samples grown by hydride vapor-phase epitaxy, organometallic vapor-phase epitaxy and molecular beam epitaxy. However, the origin of this deep level still remains unclear.

Deep Level Behaviour in Superlattice

1988
In the old times there were two kinds of physicists working on semiconductors, the ones who were studying the behaviour of electrons in the bands and the other ones who were growing materials and making devices with them. One day, the second ones realized that, if their devices did not work, this was because a kind of physics had been forgotten, the ...

Deep level impurities in germanium

Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1959
Abstract This paper will review the properties of deep level impurities in germanium. With the exception of the well known hydrogen-like impurities, all of the electrically active impurities which have been studied in detail act as multiple acceptors or donors introducing deep impurity levels (>/·03 eV).
