Burials at a Gravesite in Shirak Valley (Armenia): A Biological and Social Approach

open access: yesEtnoantropološki Problemi, 2014
A comparative paleopathological study was conducted in order to discern the general health and way of life of these populations. All the skeletal remains are dated to late antiquity (213 individuals in total, from 6 osteoarchaeological series in the ...

Space-time deformations as extended conformal transformations

open access: yes, 2007
A definition of space-time metric deformations on an $n$-dimensional manifold is given. We show that such deformations can be regarded as extended conformal transformations. In particular, their features can be related to the perturbation theory giving a

DEFORMED INSTANTONS [PDF]

open access: yesCPT and Lorentz Symmetry, 2005
In this talk, instantons are discussed in the presence of Lorentz violation. Conventional topological arguments are applied to classify the modified solutions to the Yang-Mills equations according to the topological charge. Explicit perturbations to the instantons are calculated in detail for the case of unit topological charge.

Closed system of coupling effects in generalized thermo-elastoplasticity

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2016
In this paper, the field equations of the generalized coupled thermoplasticity theory are derived using the postulates of classical thermodynamics of irreversible processses. Using the Legendre transformations two new thermodynamics potentials P and S

GEOLOGICAL AND GEOPHYSICAL TRANSECT OF THE MIDDLE TIEN SHAN ACROSS THE NARYN AND ATBASHI DEPRESSIONS

open access: yesГеодинамика и тектонофизика, 2022
The article presents the results of integrated geological and geophysical research works dealt with detailed magnetotelluric (MT) sounding and the study of the morphology and spatial position of the sedimentary cover and basement structures along the key

Deformable classifiers

open access: yesQuarterly of Applied Mathematics, 2019
Geometric variations of objects, which do not modify the object class, pose a major challenge for object recognition. These variations could be rigid as well as non-rigid transformations. In this paper, we design a framework for training deformable classifiers, where latent transformation variables are introduced, and a transformation of the object ...

Level of adaptability of five conic map projection variants on Macedonian national area as state map projection [PDF]

open access: yesMicro, Macro & Mezzo Geoinformation, 2018
Nowadays a large number of cartographic projections are used for many purposes; some of them are utilized as cartographic state projections. In the Republic of Macedonia the Gauss-Krüger projection is in use as official state cartographic projection ...

Hochschild cohomology of socle deformations of a class of Koszul self-injective algebras [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We consider the socle deformations arising from formal deformations of a class of Koszul self-injective special biserial algebras which occur in the study of the Drinfeld double of the generalized Taft algebras.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Deformations of Killing spinors on Sasakian and 3-Sasakian manifolds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider some natural infinitesimal Einstein deformations on Sasakian and 3-Sasakian manifolds. Some of these are infinitesimal deformations of Killing spinors and further some integrate to actual Killing spinor deformations.
