To avoid stick-slip vibration, one of the most important forms of self-excited vibrations in deep hole drilling, this paper studies the stability and bifurcation characteristics of a drilling system based on a two-degree-of-freedom discrete model.

Delay-Dependent Stability Criterion of Caputo Fractional Neural Networks with Distributed Delay
This paper is concerned with the finite-time stability of Caputo fractional neural networks with distributed delay. The factors of such systems including Caputo’s fractional derivative and distributed delay are taken into account synchronously.

Delay-dependent stability criterion for neutraltime-delay systems
A delay-dependent criterion is proposed to guarantee asymptotic stability for neutral systems with discrete and distributed delays. The criterion provides some information on the size of the time delays and is expressed by two inequalities. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate that the proposed result is less conservative.

Improved delay-dependent stability criteria for time-delay systems [PDF]
This note provides an improved asymptotic stability condition for time-delay systems in terms of a strict linear matrix inequality. Unlike previous methods, the mathematical development avoids bounding certain cross terms which often leads to ...

Stability Analysis of Systems with Interval Time-Varying Delays via a New Integral Inequality
This paper focuses on delay-dependent stability analysis for systems with interval time-varying delays. Based on a new integral inequality and a generalized reciprocally convex combination matrix inequality, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is ...

Delay-Dependent Stability of Single-Loop Controlled Grid-Connected Inverters with LCL Filters [PDF]
LCL filters have been widely used for grid-connected inverters. However, the problem that how time delay affects the stability of digitally controlled grid-connected inverters with LCL filters has not been fully studied. In this paper, a systematic study

On finite time delay dependent stability of linear discrete delay systems: Numerical solution approach [PDF]
In this paper, a possible solution of the basic nonlinear quadratic matrix equation was proposed. The solution is crucial in the formulation of the particular criteria for the delay-dependent finite time stability of discrete time delay systems ...
