Demultiplexing of terahertz wireless links using a leaky-wave antenna

open access: yes, 2017
International audienceWe demonstrate multiplexing and demultiplexing for terahertz wireless data links in the 300 GHz band. Demultiplexing of real-time data streams at different carrier frequencies with different data rates is presented, and real-time ...

Resolving CYP2D6 Structural Complexity with Long‐Read Sequencing: Implications for Tamoxifen Precision Dosing in Thai Breast Cancer Patients

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6)‐mediated bioactivation of tamoxifen to endoxifen is a key determinant of therapeutic efficacy in estrogen receptor‐positive breast cancer. In Asian populations, the high prevalence of structurally complex CYP2D6 alleles complicates conventional genotyping, limiting accurate genotype–phenotype correlation.

Largely Tunable Terahertz Circular Polarization Splitters Based on Patterned Graphene Nanoantenna Arrays

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
Dynamic manipulation of wavefront is vital for massive free-space optical applications. Here we propose a set of largely tunable circular polarization splitters leveraging graphene nanoantennas with high efficiency reaching 83% and wide frequency ...

Partial Arc Sampling Receiving Scheme for Demultiplexing of Orbital Angular Momentum Vortex Beam

open access: yes, 2021
Due to the divergence of the orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam, the OAM demultiplexing needs a considerable aperture size to acquire the OAM field information, which brings the challenges to implementation of the receiving end. To tackle this issue, we

HPV Serology and Circulating Viral DNA for Detection, Genotyping, and Measurement of Disease Burden in Oropharyngeal Cancer

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The incidence of human papillomavirus‐positive (HPV+) oropharyngeal cancer (OPC) has increased rapidly, and HPV early antigen serology has been proposed as a scalable and cost‐effective early detection test. HPV seropositivity can precede clinical presentation of OPC by several years, so additional surveillance procedures may be necessary to ...

Microbial keystone taxa and metabolic signatures in centenarians regulate intestinal homeostasis during aging

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Clostridium scindens and its metabolite indole‐3‐acetic acid (IAA) are identified as a keystone taxon and metabolic signature in centenarians. Clostridium scindens enhances microbial network stability and produces IAA via its own amidase (AMIE) and aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), thus promoting intestinal homeostasis by activating the aryl hydrocarbon ...

TDM-to-WDM conversion from 130 Gbit/s to 3 × 43 Gbit/s using XPM in a NOLM switch

open access: yes, 2008
We report the first demonstration of OTDM-to-WDM conversion from 130 Gbit/s simultaneously to 3 × 43 Gbit/s WDM channels in a nonlinear optical loop mirror (NOLM).
