Considering hot/dense plasmas strongly ionized and still retaining hydrogenic bound states (1 ≤ z ≤ 6), we focus attention on the delocalization features of ion-electron orbitals, such as wide spreading and attending of pertaining wave ...

Infrared effects in inflationary correlation functions
In this article, I briefly review the status of infrared effects which occur when using inflationary models to calculate initial conditions for a subsequent hot, dense plasma phase.

Instanton-induced crossover in dense QCD
We study the properties of an instanton ensemble in three-flavor dense QCD which can be regarded as an instanton plasma weakly interacting by exchanging the eta' mesons.

A molecular-dynamics approach for studying the non-equilibrium behavior of x-ray-heated solid-density matter [PDF]
When matter is exposed to a high-intensity x-ray free-electron-laser pulse, the x rays excite inner-shell electrons leading to the ionization of the electrons through various atomic processes and creating high-energy-density plasma, i.e., warm or hot ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Ultrashort filaments of light in weakly-ionized, optically-transparent media [PDF]
Modern laser sources nowadays deliver ultrashort light pulses reaching few cycles in duration, high energies beyond the Joule level and peak powers exceeding several terawatt (TW).

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Temporal distribution of linear densities of the plasma column in a plasma focus discharge
Experiments were carried out on the PF-1000 plasma focus device, with a deuterium filling and with deuterium puffing from a gas-puff nozzle placed on the axis of the anode face. The current was reaching 2 MA.
