Density gradient centrifugations of adenovirus-antibody complexes
Archiv f�r die gesamte Virusforschung, 1965Buoyant density sedimentations in CsCl of adenovirus type 5 and virus-antibody complexes has been described. It has been demonstrated that virus which survives a certain dose of antibody is found at densities lower than that of untreated particles suggesting a coating of the virus with antibody.

Density gradient centrifugation studies of vesicular stomatitis virus
Archiv f�r die gesamte Virusforschung, 1965Equilibrium sedimentation in caesium chloride has been used to separate and study the biologically active components of vesicular stomatitis virus (Indiana) grown in baby hamster kidney cells and chick embryos. Infective egg fluid was shown to contain two infective components of densities 1.191 g/ml. and 1.217 g/ml.

An improved gradient-making device for density gradient centrifugation
Analytical Biochemistry, 1965Abstract An improved gradient-making device for sucrose density gradient centrifugation is described. The device can be easily constructed with a minimum of glassblowing skill. An alternate mode of operation is presented which allows the production of a linear sucrose density gradient even from a poorly constructed device.
