Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Definable Groups for Dependent and 2-Dependent Theories
Let $T$ be a (first order complete) dependent theory, ${\gC}$ a $\bar\kappa$-saturated model of $T$ and $G$ a definable subgroup which is abelian. Among subgroups of bounded index which are the union of $< \bar\kappa$ type-definable subsets there is a minimal one, i.e. their intersection has bounded index. See history in \cite{Sh:876}.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Citizenship and Old Age: The End of the Road?
This paper is concerned with the interlinked issues of citizenship and the structured dependency of older people within Social Gerontology. It argues that implicit in much British Social Gerontology is a strategy of advancing the wellbeing of elderly ...

A postmodern approach to structured dependency theory
Structured dependency theory has been useful in shifting thinking about status in old age from a negative concentration on individual characteristics to an emphasis on the structural factors which work against elderly people.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Panel Unit Root Tests in the Presence of Cross-Sectional Dependency and Heterogeneity [PDF]
An IV approach, using as instruments nonlinear transformations of the lagged levels, is explored to test for unit roots in panels with general dependency and heterogeneity across cross-sectional units.

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.
