Influence of depletion region width on performance of solar cell under sunlight concentration
A new interpretation of high injection effect of minority carriers,np, which is happened in solar cell under sunlight concentration and imposed a limitation on its expected efficiency- has been introduced.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Depletion rate analysis of fields and regions: A methodological foundation
This paper presents a comprehensive mathematical framework for depletion rate analysis and ties it to the physics of depletion. Theory was compared with empirical data from 1036 fields and a number of regions. Strong agreement between theory and practice was found, indicating that the framework is plausible.

Depletion of Heavy Nitrogen in the Cold Gas of Star-forming Regions [PDF]
Abstract We investigate nitrogen-isotope fractionation in forming and evolving molecular clouds using gas-ice astrochemical simulations. We find that the bulk gas can become depleted in heavy nitrogen (15N) due to the formation of 15N-enriched ices.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Electrical transport and depletion region in dry-etched Si-based nanostructures
We fabricated p(+)-p-p(+) junctions in order to properly investigate the electrical conduction across a boron implanted silicon-on-insulator (SOI) nanostructured pattern, like photonic crystals and shallow-etched trenches.

Inner plasma structure of the low-latitude reconnection layer [PDF]
We report a clear transition through a reconnection layer at the low-latitude magnetopause which shows a complete traversal across all reconnected field lines during northwestward interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) conditions.

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Temporal evolution of pump beam self-focusing at the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program [PDF]
On 4 February 2005 the High-Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) facility was operated at 2.85 MHz to produce artificial optical emissions in the ionosphere while passing through the second electron gyroharmonic.

Effects of depletion region in GaN-based metal-semiconductor-metal planar inter-digitated varactor
AlGaN/GaN metal-semiconductor-metal inter-digitated varactors which are compatible with the standard HEMT process were fabricated. By analyzing equivalent circuit model,we concluded that the minimum capacitance of single finger depends on the sidewall ...
