PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Changing Human Factor in the Concept of Design and Changing Inclusive Design Approaches

open access: yesIDA: International Design and Art Journal, 2020
The starting point of the design concept is considered concurrent with the history of humanity. In designing, which directly depends on humans with its existence, all the products, both abstract and concrete, are addressed to meet the needs of human ...

Is spatial intelligibility critical to the design of largescale virtual environments? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
This paper discusses the concept of 'intelligibility', a concept usually attributed to the design of real-world environments and suggests how it might be applied to the construction of virtual environments.

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Reliability Risk Evaluation during the Conceptual Design Phase

open access: yesActa Polytechnica, 2006
I (Relative Reliability Risk Index) is calculated and the idea of concept functionality graphs is presented.  This method is applied on the example of seat suspensions for an off highway vehicle and the results are discussed.

YAP1::TFE3 mediates endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal plasticity in epithelioid hemangioendothelioma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The YAP1::TFE3 fusion protein drives endothelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EndMT) plasticity, resulting in the loss of endothelial characteristics and gain of mesenchymal‐like properties, including resistance to anoikis, increased migratory capacity, and loss of contact growth inhibition in endothelial cells.
