Magnetocatalytic Adiabatic Spin Torque Orbital Transformations for Novel Chemical and Catalytic Reaction Dynamics: The Little Effect [PDF]
In this manuscript the theory and phenomena associated with the Little Effect are introduced as the spin induced orbital dynamics of confined fermions under strong magnetic and thermal environments.

Nitrido Zeolites. A Novel and Promising Class of Compounds [PDF]
The synthetic approach to nitrido zeolites has been opened up by the synthesis and characterization of the P-N-sodalite class of compounds. A variety of compounds with a general formula M7_xH2 x[P1 2N24]X2-y with Μ = Zn2 + , Co2 + , Ni2 + etc. and X =

Defect‐Functionalization‐Mediated Tunneling Drives Nonlinear Photoemission in Perovskites
This cover illustration depicts CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals embedded with functionalized defect vacancies, where electrons migrate through defect‐mediated pathways and emit as lightning‐like beams. The imagery visualizes the core discovery of our work—defect‐functionalization‐mediated tunneling enabling nonlinear photoemission, where deep‐level ...

From [NHC─H]• to Persistent σ‐Complex Radicals: Photoinduced Radical Chemistry of Imidazolium Salts
Visible‐light excitation of electron donor–acceptor (EDA) complexes between imidazolium salts and triarylamines enables controlled single‐electron transfer (SET) and reveals a family of carbene‐centered σ‐complex radical cations. Cryogenic electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) captures the elusive [NHC─H]• intermediate and its thermal evolution into ...

The effects of deuterium on static posture control [PDF]
A significant operational problem impacting upon the Space Shuttle program involves the astronaut's ability to safely egress from the Orbiter during an emergency situation. Following space flight, astronauts display significant movement problems.

A dual‐network protein hydrogel substantially improves hemostasis and scar‐free healing. The adaptive network maintains intimate tissue contact while providing strong wet adhesion, tunable mechanics, and controlled degradation. Concurrent ROS scavenging and M2 polarization suppress fibrotic pathways, preventing scar formation.

Cyclic diaryliodonium salts engage aryl Grignard reagents to trigger a self‐propagating aryne–arylation cycle. Transient cyclic triaryliodanes serve as aryne precursors and dynamic aryl reservoirs, delivering iodine‐capped teraryls with predominant meta‐selectivity. The preserved C─I bond enables outward π‐extension or inward recyclization.

The turnover of muscle protein is responsive to different (patho)-physiological conditions but little is known about the rate of synthesis at the level of individual proteins or whether this varies between different muscles. We investigated the synthesis

Startup of the High-Intensity Ultracold Neutron Source at the Paul Scherrer Institute
Ultracold neutrons (UCN) can be stored in suitable bottles and observed for several hundreds of seconds. Therefore UCN can be used to study in detail the fundamental properties of the neutron.
