Chromatin Remodeller BRD9 Orchestrates Odontoblastic Differentiation via Coordinating RUNX2‐KLF4

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
During odontoblast lineage commitment, the chromatin remodeller BRD9 acts as a critical epigenetic coordinator, orchestrating the chromatin landscape to facilitate synergistic binding of key transcription factors RUNX2 and KLF4 to target loci for odontogenesis.

Human iPSC‐Derived Vascularised Lung Organoids for Modelling COPD and Pulmonary Hypertension

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Vascularised lung organoids (vLOs) that faithfully mimic human lung tissue architecture and disease pathology are critical for advancing pulmonary research but remain challenging to generate. Here, we developed a robust self‐organisation protocol to produce vLOs with cellular heterogeneity and functional vasculature. The engineered blood vessels within

Pathological Ossification of Spinal Ligament‐Derived Fibroblasts in an Inflammatory Micro‐Environment via Activation of the ECM/ITGA5/FAK/AKT Pathway in Ankylosing Spondylitis

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Schematic diagram illustrating the activation of the ECM/ITGA5/FAK/AKT axial signalling pathway in the osteogenic transdifferentiation of AS ligaments‐derived fibroblasts and the simulation of ectopic ossification via subcutaneous transplantation in vivo.

Adipocyte‐specific NIK depletion enhances energy metabolism and glucose tolerance in mice

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Obesity is associated with reduced energy expenditure and increased hepatic lipid accumulation. This study reveals that loss of NIK in adipocytes stimulates FGF21‐driven expression of thermogenic genes, including UCP1, and mitochondrial uncoupled respiration.
