Bovine Viral Diarrhea Viruses (BVDV) in the Feedlot
American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference Proceedings, 2005Bovine viral diarrhea viruses (BVDV) represent significant pathogens for cattle. The BVDV affect several organ systems; however, the respiratory tract and fetal infections receive critical attention based on disease impact and potential for reservoirs/transmission.

Phylogenetic analysis and characterization of Korean bovine viral diarrhea viruses
Veterinary Microbiology, 2009Thirty-six bovine viral disease viruses (BVDVs) were identified in bovine feces (n=16), brains (n=2), and aborted fetuses (n=18) in Korea. To reveal the genetic diversity and characteristics of these Korean strains, the sequences of their 5'-untranslated regions (5'-UTRs) were determined and then compared with published reference sequences.

Comparison of the p125 coding region of bovine viral diarrhea viruses
Veterinary Microbiology, 1995The p125 (p54/p80) coding region of two cytopathic (CP) strains (Oregon and Singer) and two noncytopathic (NCP) strains (NY-1 and Draper) of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) were amplified by the polymerase chain reaction, cloned and sequenced. The sequence data confirmed that the two CP strains do not possess any insertion or deletion in their p125 ...
