Discovering interactions in polypharmacy: Impact of metamizole on the metabolism of quetiapine

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Volume 90, Issue 11, Page 2793-2801, November 2024.
Aims: Metamizole is quite an old drug with analgesic, antipyretic and spasmolytic properties. Recent findings have shown that it may induce several cytochrome P450 (CYP) enzymes, especially CYP3A4 and CYP2B6. The clinical relevance of these properties is uncertain.

Unraveling the Potential of Cyclic N‐Sulfonyl Ketimines in the MCR Universe

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 27, Issue 37, October 1, 2024.
We utilized cyclic N‐sulfonyl ketimines, a privileged class of heterocycles with extensive applications in organic and medicinal chemistry, in four distinct IMCRs, aiming to generate compound libraries compatible for structural elaboration. Four scaffolds, 15 novel compounds with high diversity and complexity, along with single crystal structures for ...
