M. elsdenii reshapes colonic immunity by triggering DC cell‐mediated Th1 and Th17 inflammation. Podocyte Golgi membrane protein 1 interacts with epidermal growth factor receptor to inhibit peroxisome proliferator activated receptor γ, and then inactivates adenosine monophosphate activated protein kinase α pathway, which facilitates diabetes‐related inflammation, oxidative damage, apoptosis, and renal dysfunction.

This study identifies ZDHHC12 as a critical mediator of PA‐induced HCC progression.
