Fractional Integral Inequalities for Strongly h -Preinvex Functions for a kth Order Differentiable Functions

open access: yesSymmetry, 2019
The objective of this paper is to derive Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities for several higher order strongly h -preinvex functions via Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals. These results are the generalizations of the several known classes of preinvex

Identification of functional and diverse circulating cancer‐associated fibroblasts in metastatic castration‐naïve prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) promote cancer growth, invasion (metastasis), and drug resistance. Here, we identified functional and diverse circulating CAFs (cCAFs) in patients with metastatic prostate cancer (mPCa). cCAFs were found in higher numbers and were functional and diverse in mPCa patients versus healthy individuals, suggesting their ...

Frequency characteristics based on describing function method for differentiators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
In this paper, describing function method is used to analyze the characteristics and parameters selection of differentiators. Nonlinear differentiator is an effective compensation to linear differentiator, and hybrid differentiator consisting of linear and nonlinear parts is the combination of both advantages of linear and nonlinear differentiators ...

Surfaceome: a new era in the discovery of immune evasion mechanisms of circulating tumor cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the era of immunotherapies, many patients either do not respond or eventually develop resistance. We propose to pave the way for proteomic analysis of surface‐expressed proteins called surfaceome, of circulating tumor cells. This approach seeks to identify immune evasion mechanisms and discover potential therapeutic targets. Circulating tumor cells (

The ring of differential Fourier expansions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
For a fixed prime we prove structure theorems for the kernel and the image of the map that attaches to any differential modular function its differential Fourier expansion. The image of this map, which is the ring of differential Fourier expansions, plays the role of ring of functions on a "differential Igusa curve".

Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer Inequalities Associated with Twice-Differentiable Functions with Applications

open access: yesAxioms
In this work, we initially derive an integral identity that incorporates a twice-differentiable function. After establishing the recently created identity, we proceed to demonstrate some new Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer-type inequalities for twice ...

Extending the Applicability of a Two-Step Chord-Type Method for Non-Differentiable Operators

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
The semi-local convergence analysis of a well defined and efficient two-step Chord-type method in Banach spaces is presented in this study. The recurrence relation technique is used under some weak assumptions.

Pontryagin principle for a Mayer problem governed by a delay functional differential equation [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
We establish Pontryagin principles for a Mayer's optimal control problem governed by a functional differential equation. The control functions are piecewise continuous and the state functions are piecewise continuously differentiable. To do that, we follow the method created by Philippe Michel for systems governed by ordinary differential equations ...
