Pseudospectral-Based Rapid Trajectory Planning and Feedforward Linearization Guidance
A trajectory-based guidance strategy is proposed for the three-dimensional terminal return task of an uncrewed space vehicle (USV). The overall guidance scheme consists of reference trajectory planning and robust trajectory tracking modules.

Objective Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is a cornerstone therapy in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), but the weight‐based dosing does not account for clinical factors that can introduce individual variability in drug metabolism and clearance. We leveraged longitudinal data from a prospective SLE cohort to identify clinical factors that predict ...

Fractional-Order Algebraic Parameter Estimation for Disturbed Differentially Flat Systems
Disturbances in dynamical systems pose a major challenge for parameter identification, particularly in the presence of unknown initial conditions and uncertain external influences.

Optimal control of differentially flat systems is surprisingly easy
As we move to increasingly complex cyber-physical systems (CPS), new approaches are needed to plan efficient state trajectories in real-time. In this paper, we propose an approach to significantly reduce the complexity of solving optimal control problems for a class of CPS with nonlinear dynamics.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Active Sensing Control for Differentially Flat Systems
This paper proposes an optimal active perception strategy using the Constructibility Gramian (CG) as a metric to quantify the richness of the information acquired along the planned trajectory. A critical issue is the dependence of the CG on the transition matrix, whose closed-form expression is not available for most robotic systems while its numerical

The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.
