Flatness-based control revisited: The HEOL setting
We present the algebraic foundations of the HEOL setting, which combines flatness-based control and intelligent controllers, two advances in automatic control that have been proven in practice, including in industry.

Flatness-based fault tolerant control
Este artículo presenta un método de control tolerante a fallas para sistemas no lineales planos. Las propiedades intrínsecas d e los sistemas planos generan redundancia analítica y permiten calcular todos los estados y las entradas de control del sistema.

Robust Flatness-Based Tracking Control for a “Full-Bridge Buck Inverter–DC Motor” System
By developing a robust control strategy based on the differential flatness concept, this paper presents a solution for the bidirectional trajectory tracking task in the “full-bridge Buck inverter–DC motor” system.

This paper presents a method for highly dynamic nonlinear control of DC-DC converters with constraints used in battery emulators. Controlling this system is particularly challenging as the connected units-under-test often behave like constant power loads

A Flatness‐Based Controller for the Stabilization of the Inverted Pendulum [PDF]
We propose a flatness based approach for controlling the inverted pendulum cart system, under the assumption that the pendulum state is always located on a vicinity of its unstable equilibrium point. This is achieved by representing the original system, as a chain of integrators with an additive nonlinear state dependent perturbation.

Flatness-Based Control of a Single Qubit Gate [PDF]
This work considers the open-loop control problem of steering a two level quantum system from an initial to a final condition. The model of this system evolves on the state space SU(2), having two inputs that correspond to the complex amplitude of a resonant laser field.

Flatness-Based Control of AC / DC Hybrid Microgrid Interconnected Converter
An Interlinking Converter (ILC) control strategy based on the differential Flatness-Based Control (FBC) theory is proposed to improve the dynamic and robust performance of the hybrid AC-DC microgrid in the presence of power fluctuations and power loss ...

Discrete-time flatness-based control of a gantry crane
This article addresses the design of a discrete-time flatness-based tracking control for a gantry crane and demonstrates the practical applicability of the approach by measurement results. The required sampled-data model is derived by an Euler-discretization with a prior state transformation in such a way that the flatness of the continuous-time system
