Composition, structure and chemistry of interstellar dust [PDF]
The observational constraints on the composition of the interstellar dust are analyzed. The dust in the diffuse interstellar medium consists of a mixture of stardust (amorphous silicates, amorphous carbon, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, and graphite ...

Highly Secure In Vivo DNA Data Storage Driven by Genomic Dynamics
Integrated computational‐biological programming enables secure in vivo data storage by generating code tables from either genomes or gene regulatory networks, expanding the encryption key space by over 100 orders of magnitude. Storing code tables within synthetic genes, genomes, or gene regulatory networks adds an additional layer of security by ...

Principles for Rigorous Design and Application of Synthetic Microbial Communities
SynComs are artificially designed to enable inter‐species metabolic interactions, metabolic division of labor, and ecological interactions that can elicit phenotypes like colonization stability and environmental adaptation. This systematic review explores the processes used to construct SynComs, the assessment of the mechanisms of metabolic interaction

Two microwave‐assisted synthetic methods, specifically a one‐pot and a seeded‐growth approach, are developed within a hydroalcoholic solution for the growth of single‐phase ternary WxTi1‐xO2 and heterostructured TiO2‐WO3‐x colloidal nanocrystals. Both types of nanocrystals show significant photocatalytic activity for 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation ...

Wide‐Range Adaptive Metal Oxide for Hydrogen Sulfide Detection From Earth to Space‐Like Environments
This work presents a gas sensing platform based on Cu‐doped SnO2 microspheres that operates reliably from ambient to space‐like conditions. The sensor maintains performance across vacuum and cryogenic environments, bypassing traditional oxygen‐mediated mechanisms, utilizing direct chemisorption and interfacial charge transfer.

In situ observation of VLS growth in a confined microreactor reveals various growth modes of monolayer TMDCs, including abnormal ribbon growth and particle‐driven growth. The confined space and precursor balance influence droplet behavior and growth dynamics, offering new insights into the controlled synthesis of TMDCs via the VLS mechanism.

Universal Solvent Escape Strategies for Efficient Curing of Hydrogen‐Bond‐Rich 3D Printing Inks
This study developed a new 3D printing method for hydrogen‐bonded polymers by combining solvent replacement, nanoparticles, and optimized printing paths. This allows fast, precise scaffold fabrication. The scaffolds can be easily customized and release therapeutic agents slowly through protonation, enabling personalized bone, blood vessel, and nerve ...

Impeding Turbulence Decay in Self-gravitating Cloud Cores
Turbulence governs the fragmentation of molecular clouds and plays a pivotal role in star formation. The persistence of observed cloud turbulence suggests it does not decay significantly within the turnover timescale, implying a recurrent driving ...
