Anatomical Control in Text-to-Motion Diffusion Using Joint Condition Vectors

open access: yesIEEE Access
We present a text-to-motion diffusion framework that integrates explicit anatomical control using a Joint Condition Vector (JCV). The JCV specifies the minimum, maximum, and start angles for six lower-body channels—left/right hip abduction/flexion

Spiking Diffusion Models

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence
Recent years have witnessed Spiking Neural Networks (SNNs) gaining attention for their ultra-low energy consumption and high biological plausibility compared with traditional Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). Despite their distinguished properties, the application of SNNs in the computationally intensive field of image generation is still under ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

OS-MambaDiff: An Optical-SAR Fusion Diffusion Framework With Mamba for Robust Cloud Removal in Remote Sensing Imagery

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Although optical remote sensing imagery has been extensively used in various Earth observation tasks, its practical utility is frequently compromised by cloud cover and adverse weather, which lead to missing data and disrupt the temporal continuity of ...

Bellman Diffusion Models

open access: yesCoRR
Diffusion models have seen tremendous success as generative architectures. Recently, they have been shown to be effective at modelling policies for offline reinforcement learning and imitation learning. We explore using diffusion as a model class for the successor state measure (SSM) of a policy.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Entropy Guided Benchmarking of Classical and Generative Imputation Methods for High-Dimensional Healthcare Survey Data

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Missing data are a persistent challenge in large healthcare datasets, often undermining both statistical validity and machine learning performance when handled using simplistic assumptions. In this work, we examine how entropy-based diagnostics can guide

Hierarchical Multi-Class Deepfake Detection Using EfficientNetB4 for Source Attribution [PDF]

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences
The rising of deepfake media (images, videos and audio etc.) has become a major issue in the digital era. Deepfake generation techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks and Diffusion Models, shows major challenge to individual’s privacy ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

EMViT-DDPM: An Equilibrium-Based ViT Diffusion Framework for Data Augmentation in Multispectral Land Cover Classification

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
The scarcity and imbalance of labeled samples, common in remote sensing datasets, pose significant challenges for accurate analysis and classification, often leading to substantial bias against minority classes.
