Surface‐Functionalized LLZO‐Incorporated Multilayer Composite Solid Electrolytes for Dendrite Suppression and Efficient Ionic Conduction in Lithium–Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft–hard tri‐layer composite electrolyte that couples fast Li+ transport with reinforced interfacial stability to enable high‐conductivity, mechanically robust, dendrite‐free lithium‐metal batteries. ABSTRACT The development of solid polymer electrolytes is central to safe, high‐energy lithium‐metal batteries (LMBs); however, persistent challenges ...

Estimating dietary protein, energy, and amino acid requirements of European catfish (Silurus glanis Linnaeus, 1758) across different growth stages using a bioenergetic approach

open access: yesAquaculture and Fisheries
There is a lack of information about the nutritional requirements of European catfish (Silurus glanis) for aquaculture. This study aimed to fill this gap using a bioenergetic factorial model. To develop the model, a series of sub-studies were carried out.

Cooking conditions affect the true ileal digestible amino acid content and digestible indispensable amino acid score (DIAAS) of bovine meat as determined in pigs

open access: yes, 2019
Background: Cooking processes affect the physical, chemical, and structural properties of meat proteins. Cooking may also affect the protein quality of meat, as indicated by the true ileal digestibility of individual amino acids, the content of each ...

Influence of digestible crude protein reduction and amino acids additive in growing pigs’ diets on their performance and nitrogen balance

open access: yes, 2010
The aim of the study was to determine the influence of protein level and amino acids additive (lysine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan) in growing-finishing pigs feeding on theirperformance but also on nitrogen balance.

Dual‐Functional Ingestible Passive Capsules for High‐Throughput Intestinal Sampling with Sealed Containment and Targeted Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
To address challenges in high‐throughput intestinal sampling with sealed containment and target drug delivery, we developed a dual‐functional ingestible passive capsule with a dual‐triggered control system based on pH‐response and mechanical actuation.

Effect of Dietary Digestible Protein Levels on Muscle Growth and Oxidative Stress in Amazonian Pintado (Pseudoplatystoma reticulatum × Leiarius marmoratus)

open access: yesBiology
This study aimed to evaluate the effects of dietary digestible protein levels on the growth dynamics and oxidative stress status of white muscle fibers in Amazonian Pintado (Pseudoplatystoma reticulatum × Leiarius marmoratus). Four hundred and fifty-five

High Humidity Exacerbates Psoriasiform Skin Disease Relapse by Increasing Tissue‐Resident Memory T Cells via Altering Skin Microbiota

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We demonstrated that high humidity worsened psoriasis relapse in murine psoriasiform skin inflammation by increasing skin‐resident memory CD8+ cells via upregulating IL‐15Rα on keratinocytes. The increases in IL‐15Rα and memory CD8+ cells were attributed to S. nepalensis and its metabolite ADMA in skin exposed to high humidity.
