Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...

Multistatic Modular Real‐Time MIMO‐SONAR Systems

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar & Navigation
Mulitstatic SONAR networks (MSNs) have the potential to improve the imaging quality of underwater areas due to the increased degree of freedom. The additional signal processing required for such a network of distributed SONAR nodes compared to monostatic

Interleaving in Time-frequency Diversity on Multi-code Multicarrier CDMA System [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2016
This paper presents a new Time-frequency interleaving in a Multi-code Multicarrier CDMA (MC-MC-CDMA) system, which allows two-dimensional spreading in both time and frequency domains.

Real-time digital signal processing system for normal probe diffraction technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Ultrasonic systems are widely used in many fields of non-destructive testing. The increasing requirement for high quality steel product stirs the improvement of both ultrasonic instruments and testing methods.

Optimizing photoactivation of PA‐mCherry for optical pooled CRISPR screens

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Photoactivatable PA‐mCherry finds widespread use to optically tag individual cells. However, confocal 405 nm UV laser‐scanning (normal scan) is much less efficient than widefield UV illumination, limiting the use of PA‐mCherry on confocal instruments. We remedy this limitation by reporting that rapid and repeated confocal scanning with a low‐intensity,

IIR array processing based fast adaptive null steering algorithm using shift-invariant subarrays

open access: yes, 2012
This paper presents and investigates a fast adaptive null steering system employing infinite impulse response (IIR) array processing. The new algorithm is of considerable interest in communications where the desired signal is weak compared with the ...

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.
