The traditional scheduling approach, which primarily considers energy oligarchs like large-scale loads and large-scale generators, is challenged by the rapid rise of distributed energy resources (DERs) in energy internet of things (EIoT).

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

MicroMap: a network visualisation resource for human microbiome metabolism
The human microbiome critically influences metabolism and thereby our health. Constraint-based reconstruction and analysis (COBRA) is a proven framework for generating mechanism-derived hypotheses along the nutrition-host-microbiome-disease axis. However,

Modeling and Simulating Cities with Digital Twins
The digital twin concept has virtually exploded in recent years, but within the built environment the traditional term has long been ‘3D city model’. However, the digital twin concept is increasingly gaining acceptance as a useful concept that extends ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...
