This study reveals a pivotal epigenetic regulatory role for the histone acetyltransferase p300, demonstrating that its acetylation of histone 3 at lysine 18 and 27 (H3K18ac and H3K27ac), alongside the formation of the p300/BRD4/SP1 complex, drives AR activation and ovarian fibrosis in PCOS.

Impaired endometrial receptivity contributes to the poor pregnancy outcomes in women with PCOS. The authors found that decreased endometrial IL‐22 levels and disrupted STAT3‐IGFBP5 signaling pathway contributed to impaired endometrial receptivity. Supplementation with IL‐22 or IGFBP5 exerts a protective effect on implantation failure in PCOS‐like mice,

Androgen deprivation therapy and hormonal status in men with COVID-19
Severe course of COVID-19 among men compared to the female led to a detailed study of the hormonal status of men with COVID-19. The earliest works about this focused on the incidence and severity of COVID-19 depending on the intake of androgen ...

Prostate cancer remains a leading cause of male cancer death, yet screening cannot reliably identify aggressive disease, underscoring the need for tissue biomarkers. It is shown that primary tumors increase ER–plasma membrane junction signaling via STIM1/ORP5, whereas metastasis features their loss, Golgi dispersal, and rapid conversion of high‐mannose

Human Derived Immortalized Dermal Papilla Cells With a Constant Expression of Testosterone Receptor
Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most common type of hair loss, and is mainly caused by the biological effects of testosterone on dermal papilla cells (DPCs). In vitro culturing of DPCs might be a useful tool for the screening of target molecule of AGA.
