Crystal structure of 2-bromo-4,6-dinitroaniline

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2015
In the title compound, C6H4BrN3O4, the dihedral angles between the nitro groups and the aniline ring are 2.04 (3) and 1.18 (4)°, respectively. In the crystal, N—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds and weak side-on C—Br...π interactions [3.5024 (12) Å] link ...

Occurrence and Washout of Health‐Hazardous Chemicals in Children's Clothing

open access: yesContact Dermatitis, EarlyView.
A survey of 60 children's garments from the Swedish market showed a varying, often highly complex chemical content. The highest levels were generally found in synthetic materials and the lowest in light‐coloured cotton. Further, the washout effect by laundry and sweat migration of textile chemicals was investigated.

Disorders in dinitroaniline site opening as the factor, predetermining herbicide resistance of wild carrot

open access: yesФактори експериментальної еволюції організмів
Aim. To investigate the structural basis of carrot's natural resistance to dinitroaniline herbicides based on analysis of binding site volume and sequence variations in α-tubulin isotypes. Methods.

Enhanced Nitrogen Uptake and Early Flowering Mitigate Fitness Costs Associated With Glufosinate Resistance in Goosegrass (Eleusine indica)

open access: yesFood and Energy Security, Volume 15, Issue 4, July/August 2026.
Schematic representation of fitness trade‐offs driven by the GS1‐1Ser59Gly mutation in glufosinate‐resistant Eleusine indica. ABSTRACT Herbicide resistance in weeds is frequently accompanied by fitness trade‐offs that compromise survival and reproductive success.

Structural features of carrot α-tubulin predetermining the natural resistance to dinitroaniline herbicides

open access: yesФактори експериментальної еволюції організмів
Aim. To explain the natural resistance of Daucus carota L. to dinitroaniline herbicides. To clarify features of the carrot α-tubulin that may affect formation of the ligand-protein complex based on the structural and electrostatic analysis of the ligand-

Chemical control strategies for Poa annua in managed turfgrass systems

open access: yesCrop, Forage &Turfgrass Management, Volume 12, Issue 1, June 2026.
Abstract Poa annua L. is a widespread and persistent weed in managed turfgrass systems, exhibiting both annual and short‐lived perennial growth habits. Effective management requires an integrated approach, with chemical herbicides remaining a primary tool.

Protective Effects of Aloe Vera Extract Administiration against Trifluralin in Drosophila melanogaster with Various Parameters

open access: yesBrazilian Archives of Biology and Technology, 2022
Pesticides are toxic chemicals used to control pests, plant diseases, or undesirable vegetation. Trifluralin (TRF), causing toxicity and mutagenicity, is a dinitroaniline class herbicide used to control undesirable vegetation in agriculture. Aloe vera is

Siloxane‐Activated Through‐Space Conjugation in Conventional Chromophores for Dual‐State Emission

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 5, May 2026.
Siloxane‐activated through‐space conjugation (TSC) in polymer chains creates dual‐state emissive materials. Through a “dynamic encapsulation” mechanism, siloxane linkages organize chromophores into non‐covalently coupled assemblies, yielding high quantum yields.

Cold EI—The Way to Improve GC‐MS and Increase Its Range of Applications

open access: yesMass Spectrometry Reviews, Volume 45, Issue 3, Page 548-582, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) with Cold electron ionization (EI) is based on interfacing the GC and MS with a supersonic molecular beam (SMB) along with electron ionization of vibrationally cold sample compounds in the SMB in a contact‐free fly‐through ion source (hence the name Cold EI).
