A Hg(I) corrugated sheet assembled by auxiliary dioxole groups and Hg··· π interactions [PDF]

open access: yes
The formation of a new double-stranded staircase Hg(I) supramolecular assembly is reported. It is arranged into 2D corrugated sheets supported by Hg(I)⋯Odioxole and Hg⋯π interactions, resulting from the comproportionation reaction between Hg(II) and Hg(0)

Substitutive Approach Toward Heteroaromatic Amino Alcohols Accessed Through Dioxolanyl Radical Linchpin

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 7, 1 April 2026.
A dioxolanyl linchpin has been used to synthesize aryl ethanolamines from readily available aryl bromide and amine starting materials using a metallaphotoredox/substitution telescoped sequence. This combinatorial approach allows for a wide synthetic scope of both heteroarenes and cyclic amines. Aryl ethanolamines are an important functional group found

Enantioselective ruthenium-catalyzed benzocyclobutenone-ketol cycloaddition & total synthesis of type II polyketide antibiotic SF2446 B3 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Antibiotic resistance is a global issue that has become increasingly problematic even as new therapies continue to be developed. Our laboratory has reported a convergent method for the construction of type II polyketide natural products, many of which ...

Structure‐Guided Optimization and Biological Validation of 1,3,4‐Thiadiazole‐Based SIRT2 Inhibitors Reinforcing Channel Entrance Interactions

open access: yesDrug Development Research, Volume 87, Issue 2, April 2026.
ABSTRACT SIRT2, the cytoplasmic member of the sirtuin family, is generally acknowledged to promote cancer and contribute to the progression of various pathologies, including neurodegeneration, inflammation, obesity, and bacterial infection through the deacetylation of target substrates.

Indole‐Based π‐Extended Monophosphine Ligands for Enhanced Palladium‐Catalyzed Sonogashira Coupling

open access: yesJournal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, Volume 63, Issue 4, Page 727-737, April 2026.
A general palladium‐catalyzed Sonogashira cross‐coupling of (hetero)aryl chlorides with aliphatic, (hetero)aryl alkynes is described using Pd(dba)₂/PCy2‐Napdole‐phos catalyst system. The reaction protocol exhibits broad substrate scope and the catalyst loading can be down to 0.2 mol% Pd.

Synthesis of Hydrofluorocarbon Ethers and New Amorphous Fluoropolymers with Cyclic Fluorocarbon Ether Units [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The main focus of this work is the synthesis of hydrofluorocarbon ethers (HFEs). New synthetic methods and new HFEs were successfully developed. In Chapter 1, new HFEs were synthesized with tetrafluoroethylene (CF2=CF2, TFE) as new engineered fluids. The

Enhanced Scintillation with Uncorrelated TL and OSL Signals in LiCaAlF6:Eu Nanoparticles Enables Unprecedented Multimodal Radiation Dosimetry

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 7, 16 February 2026.
The graphical abstract illustrates the coexistence of independent OSL and TL signals, demonstrating that the material preserves TL information even after complete OSL zeroing, enabling a dual dosimetric readout within the same material. Abstract The development of multimodal dosimeters capable of preserving independent luminescent signals is a ...
