On the hierarchical classification of G Protein-Coupled Receptors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Motivation: G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) play an important role in many physiological systems by transducing an extracellular signal into an intracellular response. Over 50% of all marketed drugs are targeted towards a GPCR.

Synthesis of new dipeptides based on uracil and thymine and investigation of the molecular docking of these compounds as inhibitors of quorum sensing system in Pseudomonas aeruginosa [PDF]

open access: yesشیمی کاربردی روز, 2019
In this study, due to the importance of dipeptide compounds in diagnosis of disease or as drug compounds, new dipeptide compounds were synthesized using pyrimidine derivatives of thymine and uracil.

Metastable hydrogels from aromatic dipeptides [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Communications, 2016
The dipeptides FF and FF-NH2 form metastable hydrogels upon sonication. The hydrogels show instantaneous syneresis upon mechanical contact.

Aminosäuren – Leitlinie Parenterale Ernährung, Kapitel 4 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Protein catabolism should be reduced and protein synthesis promoted with parenteral nutrion (PN). Amino acid (AA) solutions should always be infused with PN. Standard AA solutions are generally used, whereas specially adapted AA solutions may be required

Crystal structure of the N-benzyloxycarbonyl-Alanyl-Phenylalanyl-methyl ester: the importance of the H-bonding pattern [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Large crystals of the methyl ester of the N-a-benzyloxycarbonyl protected Ala-Phe dipeptide (Z-AF-OMe) were obtained after the very slow evaporation of a solution of the corresponding carboxylic acid (Z-AF-OH) in methanol containing an excess of HCl. The

O‐Terphenyl‐basierte Familie konjugierter Makrozyklen: Selektive Erkennung von Phenylalanin im Wasser und Interaktion mit Insulin

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

o‐Terphenyl‐Based Family of Conjugated Macrocycles: Selective Recognition of Phenylalanine in Water and Interaction With Insulin

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
This study presents the synthesis and binding properties of a new family of o‐terphenyl‐based macrocycles, TP[n] (n = 2‐8). The trimer variant efficiently binds phenylalanine in water with a 10‐fold selectivity compared to other amino acids and aromatic neurotransmitters.
