A combinatorial problem on a directed graph
We consider two options for a particle’s entire journey through a certaindirectedgraph. Both options involve a random assignment to the journey route to be followed. We are interested in the option that offers, on average, the shortest route. Therefore, we determine the average journey length for each of the two options.

Design and Implementation mDPBL Teaching Approach to Improve Students' Creative Thinking Skill
The majority of learning in Universities is adopting the Direct Instructional (DI) approach. The DI approach is a lecturer-centered approach. Howover, this approach tends to be boring for the students as it is very tedious and dominated by the lecturer ...

To the solution of geoelectric problem on a direct current based on the global decomposition
The solution of a three-dimensional problem of geoelectric on a direct current is discussed. The solution of this task is constructed on the basis of global decomposition (GDAM). The algorithm consists in iterative reconstruction of the decision from two

The directed subgraph homeomorphism problem
AbstractThe set of pattern graphs for which the fixed directed subgraph homeomorphism problem is NP-complete is characterized. A polynomial time algorithm is given for the remaining cases. The restricted problem where the input graph is a directed acyclic graph is in polynomial time for all pattern graphs and an algorithm is given.

A Construction for the Hat Problem on a Directed Graph [PDF]
A team of $n$ players plays the following game. After a strategy session, each player is randomly fitted with a blue or red hat. Then, without further communication, everybody can try to guess simultaneously his own hat color by looking at the hat colors of the other players.

The Diffusion Equation Involving the Dunkl–Laplacian Operator in a Punctured Domain
The purpose of this paper is to establish solvability results for both direct and inverse problems associated with the diffusion equation involving the Dunkl–Laplacian operator in a punctured domain.

ON THE MATHEMATICS PROBLEM OF MULTILAYERED DIELECTRIC SYSTEMS IN THE CLASSICAL ELECTRODYNAMIC
Solving numerous problems of wave propagation in inhomogeneous medium in optics and radio-physics involves layered media models. Unfortunately even for two-layer systems there is no known exhaustive classification of such systems presenting their “phase ...
