The Interoperability Challenge in DFT Workflows Across Implementations
Interoperability and cross‐validation remain major challenges in the computational materials science. In this work, we introduce a common input/output standard that enables internal translation across multiple workflow managers—AiiDA, PerQueue, Pipeline Pilot, and SimStack—while producing results in a unified schema.

Psychological distress and mother-child relationship: influence of life context on a population sample (BRISA) through the use of directed acyclic graphs (DAG) [PDF]
This study aimed to investigate the association between maternal psychological distress and impairment in mother-child relationship in a sample from a Northeast capital city in Brazil with a low Human Development Index, using directed acyclic graphs (DAG)

The bayesvl package: An R package for implementing and visualizing Bayesian statistics
The bayesvl R package implements Bayesian analysis using the Stan’s no-U-turn sampler (NUTS). Two distinguished functions that the bayesvl package complements to other developed packages and software performing Bayesian analysis are the “relationship ...

Abstract Germany's Renewable Energy Sources Act (REA), enacted in 2000 and subsequently amended, subsidized national renewable energy production with fixed feed‐in tariffs for renewable energy sources (RE) from wind, solar, and biogas. Empirical studies suggest that the policy was creating windfall effects for landowners and attribute farmland use ...

Bayesian Network Learning with the PC Algorithm: An Improved and Correct Variation
PC is a prototypical constraint-based algorithm for learning Bayesian networks, a special case of directed acyclic graphs. An existing variant of it, in the R package pcalg, was developed to make the skeleton phase order independent.

Adjustment for collider bias in the hospitalized Covid-19 setting
Background: Causal directed acyclic graphs (cDAGs) are frequently used to identify confounding and collider bias. We demonstrate how to use causal directed acyclic graphs to adjust for collider bias in the hospitalized Covid-19 setting.

Planar digraphs without large acyclic sets
Given a directed graph, an acyclic set is a set of vertices inducing a subgraph with no directed cycle. In this note we show that there exist oriented planar graphs of order $n$ for which the size of the maximum acyclic set is at most $\lceil \frac{n+1 ...

Causal Discovery with Continuous Additive Noise Models [PDF]
We consider the problem of learning causal directed acyclic graphs from an observational joint distribution. One can use these graphs to predict the outcome of interventional experiments, from which data are often not available.
