IoT-enabled directed acyclic graph in spark cluster

open access: yesJournal of Cloud Computing: Advances, Systems and Applications, 2020
Real-time data streaming fetches live sensory segments of the dataset in the heterogeneous distributed computing environment. This process assembles data chunks at a rapid encapsulation rate through a streaming technique that bundles sensor segments into

Counting Hamilton cycles in sparse random directed graphs

open access: yes, 2018
Let D(n,p) be the random directed graph on n vertices where each of the n(n-1) possible arcs is present independently with probability p. A celebrated result of Frieze shows that if $p\ge(\log n+\omega(1))/n$ then D(n,p) typically has a directed Hamilton

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Formation Tracking With Size Scaling of Double Integrator Agents

open access: yesMendel
This paper considers the problem of distributed formation scaling of Multi-Agent Systems (MASs) under a switching-directed graph where the scaling of formation is determined by one leader agent. A directed-sensing graph where neighboring agents exchange

Simple Paths and Cycles of Directed Graph for Stock Trading Network Based on STP

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
The stock trading relationship of buyers and sellers in the stock market can be characterized by a directed graph. It is an important way to study stock trading network through simple directed paths and cycles.

The direct expansion of graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics, 2002
Expansion procedures introduced by \textit{H. M. Mulder} [The expansion procedure for graphs, in: Contemporary methods in graph theory. In honour of Prof. Dr. K. Wagner, 459-477 (1990; Zbl 0744.05064)] proved to be useful in recognition of median, quasi-median and partial Hamming graphs.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Isomorphisms and traversability of directed path graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
The concept of a line digraph is generalized to that of a directed path graph. The directed path graph $\forw P_k(D)$ of a digraph $D$ is obtained by representing the directed paths on $k$ vertices of $D$ by vertices.

A Polynomial-time Algorithm for Detecting the Possibility of Braess Paradox in Directed Graphs

open access: yes, 2017
A directed multigraph is said vulnerable if it can generate Braess paradox in Traffic Networks. In this paper, we give a graph-theoretic characterisation of vulnerable directed multigraphs; analogous results appeared in the literature only for undirected

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
