Data‐Driven Bulldozer Blade Control for Autonomous Terrain Leveling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A simulation‐driven framework for autonomous bulldozer leveling is presented, combining high‐fidelity terramechanics simulation with a neural‐network‐based reduced‐order model. Gradient‐based optimization enables efficient, low‐level blade control that balances leveling quality and operation time.

Sistem Pendingin Paksa Anti Panas Lebih (Over Heating) Pada Rem Cakram (Disk Brake) Kendaraan [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Until now, the vehicle brakes are not usually equipped with a special cooling system, so that the release of heat into the air occurs naturally. When used continuously, the brakes can suffer damage as a result of the occurrence of over-heating.

Daylight adaptive optimal lighting system control strategies for energy savings and visual comfort in commercial buildings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Artificial lighting of commercial buildings in Malaysia consumes 21% of the total electrical energy. Therefore, reducing the energy is required to achieve sustainable buildings (i.e., higher energy efficiency and visual comfort), by implementing ...

Hierarchical Summary Statistics Encoding Across Primary Visual and Posterior Parietal Cortices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that mouse V1 simultaneously encodes the ensemble mean and variance of motion, providing a robust summary‐statistic representation that persists despite single‐neuron variability. These signals propagate to PPC, where they are transformed into abstract category representations during decision making.

Telomere‐to‐Telomere Genomes Reveal that Multiscale Evolution Shapes the Largest Metabolic Arsenal of Diaporthe Fungi

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents the first telomere‐to‐telomere genomes and population resources for Diaporthe pathogens, uncovering the largest known fungal repertoire of secondary metabolite gene clusters. Structural variations and horizontal gene transfer drive cluster diversification, while specific rapidly evolving clusters control virulence, offering novel ...
