Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

A Quantum Proxy Signature Scheme Without Restrictions on the Identity and Number of Verifiers

open access: yesEntropy
Quantum digital signatures (QDS) establish a framework for information-theoretically secure authentication in quantum networks. As a specialized extension of QDS, quantum proxy signatures facilitate secure delegation of signing privileges in distributed ...

A discipline for loop construction

open access: yes, 1983
A discipline for loop construction is presented which is based on the concept of a well-formed postcondition. A well-formed postcondition is seen to have an implicit logical structure which is made explicit by appropriate. variable binding. This variable

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Gut-brain axis mediated by intestinal content microbiota was associated with Zhishi Daozhi decoction on constipation

open access: yesFrontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology
BackgroundConstipation is a common digestive system disorder, which is closely related to the intestinal flora. Zhishi Daozhi decoction (ZDD) is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription used to treat constipation caused by indigestion.

A discussion of the research performance evaluation in building and construction management discipline : the journal impact factors and SCI-index journals

open access: yes, 2010
The trend of diminished funding, demands for greater efficiency and higher public accountability have led to a rapid expansion of interest in the bibliometric assessment of research performance of universities.

Background Analysis of Traffic Law Discipline Construction

open access: yes, 2012
The construction of traffic law disciplines can not go beyond the actual conditions of the current economic and social development. It has become the No.1 problem to be solved that what development path on earth the analysis and exploration of this kind ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have
