MA-DDSCNet: multi-agent dynamic diffusion semantic communication network for task-oriented multi-modal fusion in autonomous driving [PDF]
In bandwidth-limited and time-varying vehicle–road–cloud cooperative autonomous driving scenarios, real-time transmission and joint inference of high-dimensional multimodal perception data are simultaneously constrained by latency, reliability, and ...

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Perirhinal cortex and the neural basis of object memory in the rat [PDF]
This thesis aimed to investigate the role of the perirhinal cortex in object memory in the rat. The first experiment tested the hypothesis that the perirhinal cortex is critical to memory for relationships between objects by testing postoperative ...

Soft Mechanical‐Electrical Logic Using Liquid Metal‐Filled 3D‐Printed Architectures
We present 3D‐printed soft mechanical–electrical logic elements that use liquid metal–filled silicone tubes actuated by thermoplastic polyurethane/polylactic acid (TPU/PLA) architectures to produce Boolean operations. Complementary normally open and normally closed unit cells perform repeatable binary transitions and can be combined into more complex ...

Enhanced Berth Mapping and Clothoid Trajectory Prediction Aided Intelligent Underground Localization
In response to the widespread absence of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals in underground parking scenes, we propose a multimodal localization method that integrates enhanced berth mapping with Clothoid trajectory prediction, enabling ...

Lattices of Hydrodynamically Interacting Flapping Swimmers
Fish schools and bird flocks exhibit complex collective dynamics whose self-organization principles are largely unknown. The influence of hydrodynamics on such collectives has been relatively unexplored theoretically, in part due to the difficulty in ...
