Nutritional Potential, Phytochemical Content, In Vivo Antioxidant, and Antanemic Potential of Musa paradisiaca Flower

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
After collecting Musa paradisiaca leaves, some were dried and others were used to produce aqueous extracts. The extracts and powders were characterized and then administered to rats made anaemic by PHZ. After 14 days of administration of the two samples, the rats were euthanized and it was observed that after 9 days of treatment, the aqueous extract ...

Targeting the Nrf2/TGF‐β1/Smad Signaling Pathway: A Novel Strategy for Urolithin A to Alleviate Renal Fibrosis

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
The diagram of the mechanism of action by which UroA regulates RF. ABSTRACT The global prevalence and mortality rates associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD) have been on a continuous rise over recent decades. The Protective Effects of Membrane‐Separated Ripe Pu‐Erh Tea Extracts Against Chronic Alcoholic Liver Injury

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
In this study, we investigated the protective effects of different membrane‐separated ripe Pu‐erh tea on alcohol‐induced liver injury. The result indicated that ripe Pu‐erh tea separated by a 50 nm ceramic membrane (molecular weight < 300 kDa) has the best effect on preventing ALD.
