Spin dynamics of a tetrahedral cluster magnet
We study the magnetism of a lattice of coupled tetrahedral spin-1/2 clusters which might be of relevance to the tellurate compounds Cu2Te2O5X2, with X=Cl, Br.

Study on relation between dispersion phase of Jerusalem Archichocke tuber and its characters.
1. For the study on the cultivation of Jerusalem Archichocke, especially the fundamental study of its yield, the dispersion phases of tuber were investigated first. 2. Between the tubers and stolons, the correlation was found that the magnitude of tubers is in direct proportion to the length, depth and thickness of stolons and is in inverse proportion ...

This research aimed to find a suitable vehicle (media) for dispersing titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO2 NPs) to investigate their toxicity in laboratory rodents. The TiO2 NPs were suspended in different vehicles viz., distilled water, Tween 80 (0.1% v/v), normal saline, normal saline + Tween 80 (0.1% v/v) and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC; 0.1%, 0.2 ...

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Photocatalyst of hydroxyapatite–nano TiO2 (HAp-nTiO2) was prepared from phosphatation of calcined cockle (Anadara granosa) shells followed by dispersion of nano TiO2 powder into HAp precipitate and calcination at 400 °C for 2 h. The prepared material was

Preparation of ZrO2/Al2O3-montmorillonite composite as catalyst for phenol hydroxylation
Zirconium dispersed in aluminum-pillared montmorillonite was prepared as a catalyst for phenol hydroxylation. The effects of varying the Zr content on the catalyst’s physicochemical character and activity were studied with XRD, BET surface area analysis,

Universality of dispersive spin-resonance mode in superconducting BaFe2As2
Spin fluctuations in superconducting BaFe2(As1-xPx)2 (x=0.34, Tc = 29.5 K) are studied using inelastic neutron scattering. Well-defined commensurate magnetic signals are observed at ({\pi},0), which is consistent with the nesting vector of the Fermi ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
