Fibrous Coalescer for the Treatment of Hydrometallurgical Oil Dispersions
Coalescence separation of oil dispersions of various hydrometallurgical extractants and solvents was studied using in-house-developed fibrous media that showed good separation performance toward four out of six common extraction reagents suspended in ...

CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Velocity Dispersions of Nearby Galaxy Clusters
We analyze the velocity dispersions of 79 galaxy clusters having at least 30 galaxies with available redshifts. Different methods for estimating the velocity dispersions are considered, and the distribution function of cluster velocity dispersions is ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Dispersion analysis looks at how widely or evenly an item is distributed in a corpus. Indices express this information on a scale from 0 to 1, with higher values commonly denoting a more balanced distribution. Most measures rely on a division of the corpus into parts, and to ensure clarity of interpretation, these should represent meaningful contexts ...
