Twisted superfluids in moving frame
{Helical waveguide filled by superfluid is shown to transform the linear displacements of reference frame $\vec V$ into rotations of atomic ensemble and vise versa rotations of reference frame $\vec \Omega_{\oplus}$ are the cause of linear displacements ...

Non-stochastic behavior of atomic surface diffusion on Cu(111) at all temperatures
Atomic diffusion is usually understood as a succession of random, independent displacements of an adatom over the surface's potential energy landscape. Nevertheless, an analysis of Molecular Dynamics simulations of self-diffusion on Cu(111) demonstrates ...

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Ferro-lattice-distortions and charge fluctuations in superconducting LaO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$BiS$_{2}$
Competing ferroelectric and charge density wave phases have been proposed to be present in the electron-phonon coupled LaO$_{1-x}$F$_{x}$BiS$_{2}$ superconductor.

Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

Agustín de Betancourt’s Double-Acting Steam Engine: Analysis through Computer-Aided Engineering
This article analyses the double-acting steam engine designed by Agustín de Betancourt in 1789 and based on the steam engine of James Watt. Its novelty and scientific interest lies in the fact that from the point of view of industrial archaeology and the

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Key-in-hand or Self-managed Production? Socio-urban Effects of Public Policies for Popular Housing
Public access to housing for the popular sectors has set up, in the last years, as one of the most pressing problems due to the segregating effects that it brings. This paper compares and evaluates the results of the new social housing production policy (
