Improvement of the Dissolution Rate of Silymarin by Means of Solid Dispersions
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, 2004 Solid dispersions of silymarin were prepared by the fusion method with the intention of improving the dissolution properties of silymarin. Polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG 6000) was used as the inert hydrophilic matrix. The dissolution studies of the solid dispersions were performed in vitro.
