Polymer Dissolution Model: An Energy Adaptation Of The Critical Ionization Theory [PDF]
The current scale of features size in the microelectronics industry has reached the point where molecular level interactions affect process fidelity and produce excursions from the continuum world like line edge roughness (LER).

High Rate Anodic Dissolution of Copper [PDF]
The anodic dissolution of copper at current densities of 10–150 A/cm2 has been studied in neutral and solutions. An experimental flow system has been built which allows electrochemical measurements of the dissolution process to be performed under denned hydrodynamic conditions typical for the technical electrochemical machining operation.

The initial stages of cave formation: Beyond the one-dimensional paradigm
The solutional origin of limestone caves was recognized over a century ago, but the short penetration length of an undersaturated solution made it seem impossible for long conduits to develop.

Bubble dissolution in horizontal turbulent bubbly flow in domestic central heating system [PDF]
In a domestic central heating system, the phenomenon of microbubble nucleation and detachment on the surface of a boiler heat exchanger finds its origins in the high surface temperature of the wall and consequential localised super saturation ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Measurement of the pure dissolution rate constant of a mineral in water
We present here a methodology, using holographic interferometry, enabling to measure the pure surface reaction rate constant of the dissolution of a mineral in water, unambiguously free from the influence of mass transport.

Theoretical Analysis of Drug Dissolution: I. Solubility and Intrinsic Dissolution Rate [PDF]
The first-principles approach presented in this work combines surface kinetics and convective diffusion modeling applied to compounds with pH-dependent solubility and in different dissolution media. This analysis is based on experimental data available for approximately 100 compounds of pharmaceutical interest.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Flow induced dissolution of femtoliter surface droplet arrays [PDF]
The dissolution of liquid nanodroplets is a crucial step in many applied processes, such as separation and dispersion in food industry, crystal formation of pharmaceutical products, concentrating and analysis in medical diagnosis, and drug delivery in ...

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.
