A study of carbide dissolution in bearing steels using computational thermodynamics and kinetics
This paper provides a study of carbide dissolution during heating of bearing steel using computational thermodynamics and kinetics. 100Cr6 steel was used for the experimental work and calculations using the Thermo-Calc and DICTRA. Carbide dissolution was

Dissolution Stability Study of Cefadroxil Extemporaneous Suspensions [PDF]
Dissolution studies have become matter of great significance because, in most cases, drug dissolution is the rate-limiting step in the absorption process.

The present work reports the microstructural, mechanical, and texture evolution of a dissimilar combination laser‐welded maraging steel with 4340 steel. This is important for aerospace applications. The demand for dissimilar welding is growing rapidly with the requirement of efficient and durable joints.

A soft, dual‐channel hydrogel patch enables simultaneous detection of wound temperature and strain by integrating ion‐diffusion‐mediated thermoelectric and resistive sensing. The conformal design maintains stable performance during motion, capturing subtle inflammatory and mechanical changes for continuous wound monitoring.

Comparison Of Dissolution Profiles Of Commercially Available Lamivudine Tablets
The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of dissolution medium on the in vitro release of lamivudine (100 mg) from four commercially available lamivudine tablets (one reference and three generic). Three different buffer solutions (pH 1.2, 4.

Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Chitin‐Derived Carbon‐Metal Functional Materials
Functional carbon materials are synthesized from combination of biopolymer (chitin) and iron precursors. The resultant material exhibits superior surface area and adsorptive properties compared to carbon materials synthesized directly from pure chitin.

Future Perspectives of Finite-Time Thermodynamics
Finite-time thermodynamics was created 45 years ago as a slight modification of classical thermodynamics, by adding the constraint that the process in question goes to completion within a finite length of time [...
