Molecular Characterization of the Dwarf53 Gene Homolog in Dasypyrum Villosum

open access: yesPlants, 2020
The Dwarf53 (D53) gene, first studied in rice, encodes a protein that acts as a repressor of the physiological response of plants to strigolactones—substances that regulate the activity of axillary buds, stem growth, branching of roots and other ...

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Comparative analysis of nutrients in muscle and ovary between an improved fish and its parents

open access: yesReproduction and Breeding
In previous studies, an allodiploid lineage (WR-F1-F5) was established by the distant hybridization of white crucian carp (Carassius cuvieri, WCC, ♀) and red crucian carp (Carassius auratus red var., RCC, ♂), an allodiploid fish (WR-II) was produced by ...

Oxygen‐Tunnel Indium Tin Oxide Vertical Channel Transistors with Enhanced Current Density and Reliability for Monolithic 3D Compute‐In‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection

Hybridization facilitates evolutionary rescue [PDF]

open access: yes
The resilience of populations to rapid environmental degradation is a major concern for biodiversity conservation. When environments deteriorate to lethal levels, species must evolve to adapt to the new conditions to avoid extinction.

Comparative genomics in chicken and Pekin duck using FISH mapping and microarray analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
BACKGROUND: The availability of the complete chicken (Gallus gallus) genome sequence as well as a large number of chicken probes for fluorescent in-situ hybridization (FISH) and microarray resources facilitate comparative genomic studies between ...

Optimization Techniques to Deeply Mine the Transcriptomic Profile of the Sub-Genomes in Hybrid Fish Lineage

open access: yesFrontiers in Genetics, 2019
It has been shown that reciprocal cross allodiploid lineage with sub-genomes derived from the cross of Megalobrama amblycephala (BSB) × Culter alburnus (TC) generates the variations in phenotypes and genotypes, but it is still a challenge to deeply mine ...

Multimodal Soft Surgical Robots Enabled by Eco‐Degradable, Sterilizable Polymers and Transient Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A compostable PGS soft surgical robot with interchangeable modules integrates transient Mo tactile and Si thermal sensors for dual feedback. The device preserves its function after clinical‐grade sterilization, demonstrates stable actuation and cardiac tissue grasping with real‐time in vivo pulsatile monitoring, and biodegrades post‐use with soil‐safe,

Multiplex Modular Nanorobotic Systems with Catalytic Activity under Magnetic Navigation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present modular nanorobots composed of a magnetic propulsion module and different extension modules carrying functional activities, assembled via DNA base pairing. The system integrates propulsion, optical tracking, enzymatic catalysis, and cell docking in a programmable manner.

Research on Distant Hybridization Between Melissutus ruthenicus c.w Chang and Medicago sativa Zhaodong [PDF]

open access: yes
Distant hybridization can be used to combine the characteristics of different species and genus to produce a new variety. By crossing the wild species Melissutus ruthenicus C.W.
