Delay-Dependent Stability of Uncertain Distributed Time-Delay Systems [PDF]

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Forum, 2012
In this paper, the problem of stability analysis of uncertain distributed time-delay systems is investigated. Systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties are considered. By taking suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and free weighting matrices, a delay-dependent sufficient condition is derived in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI).

Arbitrary Coefficient Assignment by Static Output Feedback for Linear Differential Equations with Non-Commensurate Lumped and Distributed Delays

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We consider a linear control system defined by a scalar stationary linear differential equation in the real or complex space with multiple non-commensurate lumped and distributed delays in the state.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Exponential decay and well-posedness for a one-dimensional porous-elastic system with distributed delay

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper, we consider a one-dimensional porous-elastic system with distributed delay term acting on the porous equation. Under suitable assumptions on the weight of distributed delay, we establish the well-posedness of the system by using semigroup ...

Variable-delay feedback control of unstable steady states in retarded time-delayed systems

open access: yes, 2010
We study the stability of unstable steady states in scalar retarded time-delayed systems subjected to a variable-delay feedback control. The important aspect of such a control problem is that time-delayed systems are already infinite-dimensional before ...

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

The influence of damping on the asymptotic behavior of solution for laminated beam

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
This paper dealt with a laminated beam system along with structural damping, past history, distributed delay, and in the presence of both temperatures and micro-temperatures effects. The damping terms left the system dissipative.

RF photonic delay lines using space-division multiplexing

open access: yes, 2018
We review our last work on dispersion-engineered heterogeneous multicore fiber links designed to act as tunable true time delay lines for radiofrequency signals.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.
