Distributed Large-Scale Information Filtering

open access: yes, 2014
We study the problem of distributed resource sharing in peer-to-peer networks and focus on the problem of information filtering. In our setting, subscriptions and publications are specified using an expressive attribute-value representation that supports both the Boolean and Vector Space models.

Distributed Robust Filtering for Wireless Sensor Networks with Markov Switching Topologies and Deception Attacks

open access: yesSensors, 2020
This paper is concerned with the distributed full- and reduced-order l 2 - l ∞ state estimation issue for a class of discrete time-invariant systems subjected to both randomly occurring switching topologies and deception attacks over ...

Distributed filtering for delayed nonlinear system with random sensor saturation: a dynamic event-triggered approach

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2021
This paper is concerned with the distributed filtering problem for a class of delayed nonlinear systems with random sensor saturation (RSS) under a dynamic event-triggered mechanism. The nonlinear function is assumed to satisfy the Lipschitz condition. A

Filtering Strategies for Deformation-Rate Distributed Acoustic Sensing

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Deformation-rate distributed acoustic sensing (DAS), made available by the unique designs of certain interrogator units, acquires seismic data that are theoretically equivalent to the along-fiber particle velocity motion recorded by geophones for ...

Distributed Filtering in Industrial Networks

open access: yes, 2023
The security of large interconnected systems is a major concern and a priority to address. This concern is especially pronounced for industrial systems and critical infrastructures, where the cyber aspects are closely interwoven with the physical reality.

Distributed MEMS Tunable Filters [PDF]

open access: yes31st European Microwave Conference, 2001, 2001
This paper focus on the design of MEMS distributed tunable millimeter wave filters. A two pole filter continuously tunable in bandwidth and in frequency with constant input/output impedance is described. The center frequency can be tuned from 37.8 GHz to 40.4 GHz and the bandwidth can be changed from 1.6 GHz to 1 GHz with constant return losses.

A mobile sensing approach to distributed consensus filtering of 2D stochastic nonlinear parabolic systems with disturbances

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2023
The focus of this paper is on distributed consensus filtering in two-dimensional (2D) space for stochastic nonlinear parabolic systems with disturbances. Distributed filters are used in mobile sensor networks to achieve consensus estimate. By utilizing a

The Distributed Bloom Filter

open access: yesCoRR, 2019
The Distributed Bloom Filter is a space-efficient, probabilistic data structure designed to perform more efficient set reconciliations in distributed systems. It guarantees eventual consistency of states between nodes in a system, while still keeping bloom filter sizes as compact as possible.

Distributed High-Degree Cubature Information Filter With Embedded Hybrid Consensus

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
To settle the problem of distributed nonlinear state estimation in sensor networks with naive nodes, a novel distributed high-degree cubature information filter with embedded hybrid consensus (DHCIF) is proposed.
