Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Pure state thermodynamics with matrix product states

open access: yes, 2013
We extend the formalism of pure state thermodynamics to matrix product states. In pure state thermodynamics finite temperature properties of quantum systems are derived without the need of statistical mechanics ensembles, but instead using typical ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Consensus-Based Filter for Distributed Sensor Networks with Colored Measurement Noise

open access: yesSensors, 2018
Consensus filtering is an effective method for distributed state estimation of distributed sensor networks and the assumption of white measurement noise is widely used.

Estimation of Space-Time Varying Parameters Using a Diffusion LMS Algorithm

open access: yes, 2014
We study the problem of distributed adaptive estimation over networks where nodes cooperate to estimate physical parameters that can vary over both space and time domains.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Prediction-Based Distributed State Estimation Control for IoT-Enabled Train Positioning Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access
This study addresses a prediction and distributed state estimation-based reliable control problem for IoT-enabled train positioning systems which are subject to deception attacks, missing measurements, coupling delay, process and measurement noises.

Distributed State Estimation under State Inequality Constraints with Random Communication over Multi-Agent Networks

open access: yesInformation, 2018
In this paper, we investigate distributed state estimation for multi-agent networks with random communication, where the state is constrained by an inequality.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
