Distributed State Estimator Advances and Demonstration
Proceedings of the 41st Annual Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS 2008), 2008Present state estimator performance is not 100% reliable. Specifically, there is significant probability that the state estimators may not converge to an acceptable solution. On an industry wide basis, the probability of non convergence is about 5%. The reasons for this performance have been investigated and have been reported in earlier papers.

Distribution system state estimation

The normal equation method is used to compute the real-time states of distribution systems modeled by their actual a-b-c phases.
