Network reconfiguration and loss allocation for distribution systems with distributed generation [PDF]
Distribution systems with distributed generation require new analysis methods since networks are not longer passive. Two of the main problems in this new scenario are the network reconfiguration and the loss allocation.

Dynamic reconfiguration of distribution networks considering wind-PV-load scenarios
The increasing integration of high-penetration renewable energy has led to prominent challenges in distribution networks, including voltage violations, increased network losses, and wind and photovoltaic (PV) power accommodation. To address these issues,

Network reconfiguration for load balancing in distribution networks
Network reconfiguration of a power distribution system is an operation to alter the topological structure of distribution feeders by changing open/closed status of sectionalising and tie switches. By transferring loads from the heavily loaded feeders to the lightly loaded ones, network reconfiguration can balance feeder loads and alleviate overload ...

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Numerical Modeling of Photothermal Self‐Excited Composite Oscillators
We present a numerical framework for simulating photothermal self‐excited oscillations. The driving mechanism is elucidated by highlighting the roles of inertia and overshoot, as well as the phase lag between the thermal moment and the oscillation angle, which together construct the feedback loop between the system state and the environmental stimulus.
