Optimal Reconfiguration using Firefly Algorithm for Integrated Electrical Distribution Network with Distributed Generation, Case Study: 20 kV Tarahan Substation, Province of Bandar Lampung, Indonesia [PDF]
The unbalanced load distribution in the electrical distribution network caused crucial power losses. This condition occurs in one of the electrical distribution networks, 20 kV Tarahan Substation, Province of Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. This condition can

Bioinspired Soft‐Skeleton Robotics With Cooperative Shape Transformation and Stiffness Adaptation
A bioinspired soft‐skeleton robot that integrates variable‐stiffness chain skeletons into a soft textile skin is developed. The chain skeletons are highly flexible initially but can stiffen upon pneumatic actuation, enabling large deformation and enhanced load‐bearing capacity.

Joint Distributed Generation Maximization and Radial Distribution Network Reconfiguration
This paper studies an optimization problem for joint radial distribution system network reconfiguration and power dispatch for distributed generation (DG) maximization. We provide counterexamples to show that for DG maximization, standard techniques such as interior point method (as in Matpower), linear approximation and second order cone relaxation (e.
