TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Distribution of Prime Numbers

open access: yes
This research explores the distribution of prime numbers through the analysis of odd gaps and small divisors. It presents a practical and structured method for generating and verifying prime numbers using the rule 6k ± 1, exclusion of small divisors, and square root validation.

Prime numbers between squares [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
A well known conjecture about the distribution of primes asserts that between two consecutive squares there is always at least one prime number. The proof of this conjecture is out of reach at present, even under the assumption of the Riemann Hypothesis.

The Distribution of Prime Numbers and Volterra's Integral Equation of Second Kind

open access: yes, 2022
application/pdfIn this paper, we obtain some relations between the distribution of prime numbers and Mertens' asymtotic formula on the sum of reciprocals of prime numbers: Σ_(p≤x)(1/p) , using Volterrra's integral equation of second kind.論文(Article ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Power residues, digit expansions, and relative class numbers [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications
This is a survey of a connection between the distribution of certain power residues modulo p, p a prime, and relative class numbers. The focus lies on quadratic residues and sixth power residues.

Distribution of the Prime Numbers

open access: yes, 2008
It is known that there are infinitely many prime numbers and, by the Prime Number Theorem, we can count very accurately how many primes are in the interval [0, N] when N is a large integer.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
