Elevated winding insulation temperature, driven by harmonic distortions, is a key factor in transformer lifespan reduction. Conventional models often oversimplify the effect of combined current and voltage harmonics.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

A power quality equalization compensation algorithm for medium-voltage distribution transformer-side power quality considering ordered clustering of incremental loads [PDF]
To adapt to the characteristics of continuity, dynamics, and uneven distribution of incremental loads and to ensure the power quality of the medium-voltage (MV) distribution transformer terminal, we study the power quality equalization compensation ...

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Modeling of open bank distribution transformer connections [PDF]
Distribution transformers are an essential part of any power distribution system. In order to thoroughly simulate and analyze such a system, accurate models must be developed that make use of readily available field data.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Assessing Ageing Condition of Mineral Oil-Paper Insulation by Polarization/Depolarization Current [PDF]
Accurately assessing the ageing status of oil-paper insulation in transformer is essential and important. Polarization and Depolarization Current (PDC) technique is effective in assessing the condition of oil-paper insulation system.

Evaluation of distribution transformer banks in electric power systems [PDF]
This article compares the total mass and the total owning cost (TOC) of three‐phase distribution transformer banks with standard three‐phase distribution transformers. The comparison is based on the minimum TOC. This is achieved through a field‐validated

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.
