A risk-resistant microgrid formation method considering subsequent line faults and outage propagation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
Microgrid formation provides a viable solution for enhancing the resilience of distribution systems under extreme conditions. In general, the on-outage areas of the distribution system are partitioned into multiple islands to restore the critical loads ...

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Distributionally Robust Variational Quantum Algorithms With Shifted Noise

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
Given their potential to demonstrate near-term quantum advantage, variational quantum algorithms (VQAs) have been extensively studied. Although numerous techniques have been developed for VQA parameter optimization, it remains a significant challenge.

Distributionally Robust Return-Risk Optimization Models and Their Applications

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
Based on the risk control of conditional value-at-risk, distributionally robust return-risk optimization models with box constraints of random vector are proposed.

Research on Location and Distribution Decision of Emergency Material Logistics Network Under Uncertain Demand Distributions Scenario [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng
A reasonable preventive strategy for the location and distribution of emergency materials within a logistics network is key to ensuring the supply of materials after urgent events, such as the recent public health crisis.

A framework of distributionally robust possibilistic optimization

open access: yesFuzzy Optimization and Decision Making
In this paper, an optimization problem with uncertain constraint coefficients is considered. Possibility theory is used to model the uncertainty. Namely, a joint possibility distribution in constraint coefficient realizations, called scenarios, is specified.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Distributionally Robust Shape and Topology Optimization

open access: yes
This article aims to introduce the paradigm of distributional robustness from the field of convex optimization to tackle optimal design problems under uncertainty. We consider realistic situations where the physical model, and thereby the cost function of the design to be minimized depend on uncertain parameters.
